Meet Our Team

I am Sue Matson, the coordinator of the ALC Balm of Gilead. I am a mom of 11 children and have experienced the sorrows and joys of motherhood. I have seen the struggles our young experience through this walk of life...social media, instant access to just about anything on cell phones, etc. I have counseled and supported many through abuse and the emotion that comes with it. God has laid a compassion in my heart to work in this field. It is my desire to help all those affected by abuse and to teach and share His promises. There is a way to peace and forgiveness. All glory to God and the finished work on the cross!

I have been involved with the Balm of Gilead for over twelve years. I have held the position of Coordinator, presented education to churches, taught support group leadership classes, and have led survivor support groups. My calling is women's ministry and the love for God's people​
